CRAFT, SCALE
AND CONTEXT
Createk designs and fabricates custom artificial rock, faux stone, boulders, cliff faces, cave systems, and composite rockwork for commercial, zoo, aquarium, museum, and themed environments. Features are built to look convincing at close range and perform in demanding indoor and outdoor conditions.
Artificial rockwork is one of the most common elements in themed, zoo, aquarium, museum, and commercial environments. Createk's composite approach allows project teams to specify the shape, texture, color, and scale of rock features without the weight and installation challenges of natural stone or the limitations of traditional shotcrete rockwork.
Createk's sculptors work from reference photos, geological surveys, site drawings, or concept art to produce rock formations suited to the project. Features can be fabricated in sections, shipped to the site, and assembled with less field disruption than traditional methods.
Artificial rock from Createk has been installed in retail environments, zoos, aquariums, museums, theme parks, playgrounds, landscape architecture projects, and commercial interiors. Every project is custom.
