From Concept to Installation Support
Createk can support a project from early concept through design coordination, fabrication, delivery, and installation support. Every project is different — our process adapts around the scope, timeline, and needs of the team.
Createk's composite features are designed for close-up interaction in demanding commercial, zoo, museum, and themed environments.
Most features are built in Createk's facility, sectioned for shipping, and assembled on-site — reducing field time and disruption.
Createk can work from early concept, existing drawings, renderings, reference images, or physical objects. Pricing options include T&M, fixed cost, and full design/build.
Understanding the Project
Createk can work from drawings, renderings, concept art, reference images, physical objects, site photos, or early project ideas. Based on a survey and discussions with your team, Createk prepares a narrative statement detailing the overall concept, requirements, and project budget. Once approved, this becomes the formal design specification for the project. 3D computer software is used to give the project team full control of product customization before fabrication begins.
Understanding the Environment
Where the project site, existing structure, or installation conditions require it, Createk arranges a site visit. Architects, engineers, and project planners meet with the project team to review plans, document conditions, take measurements, and discuss the project in detail. This on-site assessment helps ensure that fabricated components will fit, attach, and integrate correctly with the surrounding environment.
Precision Before Production
Technical review is tailored to the approved design and project requirements. The team coordinates product weights, design loads, attachment points, supports, and shop drawings with the project team. When stamped drawings are required, Createk coordinates with an appropriately licensed engineering partner for the project's scope and jurisdiction.
Built in Our Facility
Once engineering is complete, Createk's team of steel fabricators, sculptors, and molders work in the in-house steel and molding facility. Project components are built in the facility, then cut into modular sections and shipped to the job site. Shop-controlled fabrication reduces field time, limits on-site disruption, and allows for tighter quality control over surface finish, color, texture, and structural performance.
From the Shop to the Site
Modular sections are shipped to the job site where Createk's installation team completes the project. Because the installed result is the most visible outcome of the entire project, Createk deploys only its most experienced workers for this phase. Once installed, the project is reviewed jointly by the client and Createk teams to confirm the work meets the agreed scope and design intent.
